The Paralegal is an integral part of the workflow management for the Legal team at Sectigo. This Paralegal will provide legal and contracting support, review day-to-day contracting that supports various aspects of Sectigo, and provide ongoing operational and administrative support to the Legal team. This individual will report to our Cary, North Carolina office 5 days a week.

The Paralegal is an integral part of the workflow management for the Legal team at Sectigo. This Paralegal will provide legal and contracting support, review day-to-day contracting that supports various aspects of Sectigo, and provide ongoing operational and administrative support to the Legal team. This individual will report to our Cary, North Carolina office 5 days a week.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Administer the organization’s contract management system, collaborate internally to establish workflows, review contracts for accuracy prior to execution and initiate contract execution via DocuSign.
- Responsible for vetting initial matter intake from internal and external sources.
- Review contracts to ensure necessary information is captured and required signatures included.
- Review and revise Nondisclosure Agreements in accordance with Sectigo policy.
- Address contracting questions and issues internally.
- Manage annual renewal of corporate insurance policies and conduct initial review of issued policies for accuracy.
- Update and maintain corporate books for Sectigo entities.
- Track amendments to standard agreements.
- Assist to develop and implement efficiencies that alleviate bottlenecks in the contracting process.
- Assist Sales Operations and Salesforce Administrator in establishing signature workflows.
- Conduct legal and factual research on a range of matters.
- Research and draft various legal correspondence and handle administrative tasks.
- Prepare amendments, addenda, and contract extension documents.
- Process requests for termination of contracts and prepare termination letters.
- Intake incoming subpoenas, conduct initial investigation and work with attorney to compose response/document production.
- Entity management.
- Monitor compliance dates for various business license renewals and manage renewal process.
- Monitor compliance calendar for required statutory filings in domestic and foreign jurisdictions and manage filing process.
- Monitor critical dates for intellectual property maintenance (USPTO, WIPO, EUIPO and other bodies as relevant).
- Perform due diligence and other related support with various corporate transactions.
- Coordinate records integration in connection with various corporate transactions.
- Implement, coordinate, contribute and assist with other contracting assignments as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned and related to the nature of this role and company initiatives.
Education
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience is strongly preferred.
- 5 years paralegal experience and prior Cyber Security paralegal experience are strongly preferred.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Notary Public is a plus.
- Service industry experience is a plus.
- Excellent written skills and the ability to correspond and communicate with others clearly and effectively in writing. May respond directly on behalf of attorney or manager without direction or instruction.
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills and the ability to interpret information, answer complex questions and communicate in a professional, courteous, clear and concise manner.
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Adobe Acrobat DC.
- Knowledge of Salesforce and DocuSign.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Strong positive and customer service-oriented approach.
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to see several steps ahead and be proactive.
- Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple tasks and competing priorities.
