Purpose
To assist in the daily operations of the department by supporting SECU branch and operations personnel seeking answers to questions about SECU policies and procedures regarding financial exploitation, abuse and neglect, and all Financial Exploitation Prevention subject matter. Serves as a resource to department employees needing assistance with complex member situations. Collaborates with statewide trust representative network regarding trust and estate planning as a preventative tool. Makes reports to law enforcement and Adult Protective Services (APS) ensuring full compliance with all State and Federal regulations. Presents Financial Exploitation Prevention training workshops across the state. Assists with the development of productive relationships with local Adult Protective Services personnel, law enforcement officers, and other professionals who work in related professional services.

Represents the department at internal meetings. Knowledge in all areas of Trust Services and Financial Advisory Services is required.

Support branch, FAS Retail Delivery and Contact Center staff with member situations involving financial exploitation, abuse and neglect.
Discuss complex member situations with branch and operations personnel.
Answer and log phone and email requests from branch and operations personnel seeking assistance with complex products such as notary services, signature guarantee, powers of attorney, guardianships, rep payees, federal fiduciaries, social security benefits, Medicaid issues, payable on death, NCUA insurance, UTMA, personal agency, wills, trusts, estates, estate settlement, financial and estate planning.
Respond to branch and operations employee concerns promptly and courteously with the intent to reconcile all problems.
Promote policies and services set by the Board of Directors.
Keep abreast of current policies, issues, Federal and State regulations.
Evaluate situations and make critical decisions.
Act in a professional manner on and off the job and be courteous and discreet in the performance of duties and hold information in strict confidence.
Support branch employees in serving members.
Demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of Fiduciary Support subject matter.

Experience –
Must have experience with the required Trust Services subject areas.
SECU experience preferred, ideally in a position involving direct branch or member interaction.

Must have four-year degree.
Must be knowledgeable and promote all areas of Trust and Estate Planning Services.
Must have proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word.
