Learning & Development Consultant - Technology

Job Description Summary:

Assesses, develops and executes learning and development programs/opportunities with the intent to help the organization be successful by developing skills and competencies, enhancing productivity and quality of work, and building loyalty to the company.

Champions learning and development solutions to aid organizational effectiveness by developing, designing and delivering learning paths that facilitate the achievement of current and emerging Enterprise Technology and company goals.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Develop strong partnerships with Enterprise Technology and business leadership to identify and prioritize learning needs.  Demonstrate an aptitude and comfort level with current and emerging technologies.
• Create strategic roadmaps for developing and maintaining a continuous learning environment for all enterprise technology associates by aligning with technology operating principles, priorities and programs.
• Perform needs analysis to identify each audience and corresponding opportunities in knowledge, skills or abilities
• Identify potential learning solutions, both internal and external, maintaining market expertise in technology learning vendors
• Curate content offerings to align to the right learning experience for our associates (buy vs. build, right method of delivery etc.)
• Develop and design comprehensive learning programs for specific roles or initiatives. Utilize industry best practices and adult learning principles.  Deliver training as appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Previous instructional design experience, creating formal and informal learning solutions.
• Ability to think strategically and collaboratively to influence and help prioritize technology learning throughout the organization
• Ability to lead, direct and influence change throughout the organization.
• Ability to think critically and use a broad range of complex information to identify recommendations and solutions.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively, building strategic relationships with associates at all levels and to focus on achieving results.
• Demonstrated strength in written and verbal communication skills to effectively conduct needs assessments, convey important information, and promote available resources.
• Project management and problem-solving skills to facilitate timely completion of simultaneous projects both independently and with others.

​Physical Job Requirements:

·Ability to work at least 40 hours per week
-Ability to utilize keyboard, mouse and computer for up to 8 hours per day
-Ability to utilize phone for approximately 2-4 hours per day
-Ability to perform simple grasping including handwriting, paper manipulation, sorting, folding, etc. periodically throughout entire workday
