Position: Site Security Manager – F/T
Security 1 Solutions (S1S) has an immediate position opening for an experienced Site Security Manager with a background in the security field. As the Site Security Manager, you will provide general assistance and direction for security operations, supervise security staff, respond to emergency situations, and conduct on-site training for security team members. Routinely and frequently meet and coordinate with the Customer Representative who maintains oversight of the Security Department.

Roles and Responsibility:
- Perform duties at the work site M-F during agreed-upon business hours (excluding holidays).
- Available for work-related communications after work hours as needed.
- Ensure the correct and consistent delivery of all administrative requirements as directed by the Customer and other designated officials.
- Routinely enforce all applicable policies, procedures, and practices associated with the work site requirements as well as those of Security 1 Solutions.
- Provide direct and consistent guidance and direction to all Security Officers, promoting a proactive attitude in meeting the site security and safety requirements
- Immediately notify the Customer and Security 1 Solutions of any safety or security-related issues that may impact the site.
- Ensure all planned work hours are scheduled on a weekly basis and sufficiently staffed to minimize Non-Billed Over Time (NBOT) issues.
- Enter weekly work schedules in Makeshift – Publish/Validate timesheets each week.
- Randomly and routinely inspect each Security Post, checking for:
- Security Officer Uniform Appearance and Grooming standards
- Post cleanliness (Housekeeping and Organization)
- Post Orders (Present/Current)
- Post Procedure Manual (Present/Current)
- Emergency call listing (Present/Current)
- Provide a consistent level of management oversight to ensure the unarmed Security Officers perform all required security functions and other related duties as directed.
- Collect and review the Security Activity Reports daily for quality assurance purposes and compliance with the established Post Orders, existing Procedure Manuals, and Customer directives. Take corrective action as needed.
- Effectively forecast staffing needs and conduct external recruiting efforts through the ADP Portal to ensure staffing levels remain sufficient for operational requirements.
- Conduct documented OJT training for all newly assigned Security Officers to ensure continuity of services.
- Provide a Weekly Ops Report NLT noon every Wednesday to the Director of Operations
- Conduct documented recurring and situational training for all existing Security Officers to ensure comprehension and compliance.
- Routinely and randomly monitor the Security Officers to validate the work site (internal and external areas) is being adequately patrolled to prevent damage to any property or equipment.
- Oversee the established building access control procedures to ensure compliance with the work site requirements (Personal identification validation, sign-in roster, site badge issue/return). Report any/all issues to the Customer immediately.
- Effectively execute management oversight duties to ensure all necessary actions are taken to prevent or minimize the possibility of theft or compromise of customer property or documents.
- Regularly reinforce the requirement to the Security Officers to execute all associated security and safety duties in a consistent manner that ensures compliance with established policies, procedures, practices, and customer directives. Administer disciplinary action as necessary.
- Respond to any/all reported or observed emergency situations. Upon arrival at the incident scene, assist as appropriate; provide information to assist in emergency handling; serve as point of contact for other emergency response agencies; provide updates to Customer Representative(s) as necessary
- Other duties as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate: Education, Licenses and Certifications Required:
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must possess a current DOD Clearance at the SECRET level (Interim Secret is acceptable)
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Computer skills necessary to perform tasks, including Windows, Microsoft Office Suite
- Must Possess a Valid Current State-Issued Driver’s License
- Must possess an active valid DCJS Registration
- First Aid, CPR/AED Certification
- Must be able to read/write in the English language
Type and Length of Specific Experience Required:
- Site Security Manager shall be an individual of unquestioned integrity. This individual must have successful protection experience or comparable work at a level equivalent to that of this position. This individual shall, at all reasonable times, be available to receive and implement orders or instructions from the customer, which affects the operation of the protection force.

Physical Requirements and Environment:
Environment: Office; minimal to no work in extreme temperatures is expected
Major activity: Working on PC while sitting; telephone use; driving; walking and standing
Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Standing, walking, and sitting. Minimal to no stooping or kneeling.
