Position Summary:
The Electronic Banking Specialist is expected to support Wire Department, Internet Banking, Mobile Deposits, Voice response system, ATM/debit cards, Cash Management, ACH and Remote Deposit Capture. This individual will assist customers and provide phone support on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
- Emulate SSB&T Core Values
- Develop and apply working knowledge of electronic banking products & services
- Provide support to all areas (Internet Banking/Voice Response, ATM/Debit Cards, Cash Management, ACH and Remote Deposit Capture, Wire Transfers)
- Activate and approve customer online banking applications
- Maintenance and manage online banking customer files
- Adjustments for ACH and debit card disputes
- Communication as necessary with vendors
- Assist in routine daily customer service activities
- Balance overall functions for the two departments
- Provide support to branch employees
- Provide support to customers
- Be available to assist with visits to customer locations to aid in merchant training and installation of Cash Management and Remote Deposit Capture
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) - some college (preferred)
- Must have proficient skills with computer, phone, and other devices
- Must have experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and organization are necessary.
