Home Garden Operations Manager - Seedway, LLC - Richmond, VA

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
To assist & support inventory management, sales, customer service, communicate organizational needs, and oversee employees' performance.
SUPERVISION AND LEADERSHIP
Supervises Home Garden customer service representatives.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Home Garden Division Inventory Management (Seed, Hardware Components, etc.)
Manages Flags for HG.
Reordering, restocking current program.
Facilitate forecast through production completion.
All HG packaging management.
Coordinates HG packaging production
Leads Spring/Fall HG programs (Round Up Ready, Bin Stickers, Handbooks)
Sets pricing for HG products.
Represents HG at trade shows.
West Virginia Seed Stamps and Letters
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Normally requires an associate degree in business, or the equivalent thereof (2 years customer/guest service).
Customer oriented with a helpful, caring, and personable personality.
Works well in a fast-paced work environment.
Knowledge of Microsoft systems (minimum of 3 years working with Microsoft software) and basic computer skills.
Takes initiative and "think outside the box". Attention to detail, order & cleanliness.
Has exceptional energy, flexibility and professionalism.
Offers exceptional service and meeting the needs of others Effective communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
Proven ability to organize tasks and priorities effectively with accurate sense of detail.
