Position – Warehouse Transport Coordinator
Job Location – Owen, WI
Starting Dates – Immediately
Employment Term – Long-term Temporary (8 months)
Employment Type – Full-Time
Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift (7:30am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri)
Starting Pay – $22.80/hr
Required Education – High School diploma or GED/HSED required
Required Experience – Previous administrative or shipping clerk related experience & strong Microsoft Office skills
The transport coordinator will report the Warehouse Supervisor. Their main duty will be working in SAP to process inbounds. They will also have other data entry roles.
Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative and clerical support.
- Set up and maintain carrier appointments.
- Verify/Inspect incoming paperwork/product.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in clean and orderly condition.
- Compose and type reports, memoranda, letters and correspondence, edit for grammatical correctness; proofread own work and work of others.
- Assist the team with heavy workloads and rush projects.
- Perform confidential tasks independently, using discretion when in discussions with others and when handling sensitive documents.
- Continually review procedures with an eye toward streamlining, eliminating redundancies or handoffs, and incorporating available technology.
- Quickly develop a working knowledge of policies, procedures and functions supported and address questions/handle issues related to such.
- Presents accurate and timely production data in appropriate format to management.
- Responsible for supporting the execution and operation of various manufacturing processes and procedures in an efficient and timely manner.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
