Sure, there are times you’ll write about the contact lenses themselves. But most of your responsibility is to make the task of getting contact lenses easy and surprisingly pleasant. Communicate clearly and use our brand voice to make our customers smile. Doing so will bring you and your family glory and honor for generations.

- You wield the written word like a scalpel and love finding ways to put personality into prose where it’s least expected
- You enjoy, nay, are thrilled to work closely with individuals and teams to participate in all stages of the creative process, from brainstorming to conceptual development and production
- You stay on top of business and industry trends and develop expertise around marketing channels and social media platforms
- You revel in the challenge of working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload often requiring short turnaround times
What you'll do
- Interpret creative briefs and messaging frameworks to develop and produce creative concepts through execution
- Produce written materials for digital marketing, email, SMS, web, blog posts (and sometimes cardboard boxes) to help customers on their journey toward ocular bliss
- Continually raise the bar on creativity, exploration, and experimentation, writing fresh copy that connects with the desired audience and drives action
- Collaborate closely with designers, managers, and others from concept development to delivery of the final product
- Communicate creative ideas in presentations
- Execute your creative genius within brand voice and style guidelines
- Eagerly accept feedback and work through multiple iterations of concepts to arrive at the best idea and execution
- Juggle multiple assignments for different partners. Extra consideration will be given to those who can actually juggle.
What you have
- A solid and diverse portfolio of strategic and creative work, largely focused on email marketing and ad campaign work
- 5-7 years of experience working on digital advertising campaigns
- A bachelor’s degree, preferably in advertising/communications or related major
- Excellent writing and editing skills with demonstrated experience in conceptual writing all the types of marketing copy
- Strong presentation and verbal communication skills
- Ability to think strategically and conceptualize creatively
- Ability to take creative direction, interpret it, and create new ideas
- Ability to make above-average peanut butter bars preferred
- Ability to own projects, drive them forward independently, and take initiative
