Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Patient Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The Patient Coordinator will be responsible for managing patient appointments, medical records, and ensuring a smooth patient experience.
Duties:
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Verify patient insurance coverage and assist with insurance-related inquiries
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed
- Ensure compliance with medical office procedures and regulations
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries from patients
Experience:
- Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare providers
