Selby Jennings is working with private equity firm based out of Dallas, TX. They were founded is 2016 and invest in industrials, manufacturing, specialty chemicals, building products and logistics businesses in the $15 – 100M revenue range. They make control equity investments in small and medium-sized family and founder-held businesses. This firm recently raised its inaugural fund and to date, have acquired 12 operating entities across three holding companies.

Responsibilities

  • Review new transactions with the firm's investment professionals
  • Develop and manage financial models and analyses for prospective acquisitions
  • Support lender diligence and evaluation of investments
  • Assist in the transaction diligence and underwriting process
  • Compose investment committee approval documents
  • Support investment professionals and management in the exit sale process of investments

Qualifications

  • 3 - 6 years of experience (private equity, investment banking, lending, consulting or investment management)
  • Strong accounting and financial modeling skills
  • Business acumen with track record of evaluating lower middle market investment opportunities
