This position is designed to provide administrative strength capable of driving existing processes and managing significant amounts of detailed information such as the OSHA 300 logs and more. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, responsive, reliable, can prioritize various tasks and will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Adherence to deadlines and great planning/follow through is a must. The ability to work well within a team is fundamental to this role. It is critical that the Safety Administrator can communicate clearly and concisely orally and in writing, while providing top-notch customer interactions.

Accountabilities
Organizational Checklist Administration
- In collaboration with Safety Officer, develop and implement daily checklists for safety/compliance.
- Organize inbox
- Respond to meeting requests
- Ensure Officer knows daily/weekly schedule highlights
- Ensure proper balance of onsite safety checks
- Manage and execute administrative projects as assigned
- Serve as help desk for departmental safety questions and elevate issues as appropriate to Safety Officer
- Manage and maintain all safety meeting minutes and related communications
- Manage safety supply inventory
- Work with assigned team members to understand needs of operational units re: safety equipment current and new
- Manage inbound invoices and coding
- Maintain, update, and distribute safety manuals
- Schedule routine trainings around key safety needs with a six-month lead time
- General safety training check-ins and morning huddles
- Onboarding integration for safety/compliance
- Maintain OSHA 300A Log (24-hour log requirement)
- Organize and oversee Workers’ Compensation reporting process
- Follow-up with individuals and managers re: incidents/ processes.
- High School Education and 2 years of relevant experience, Associates Degree preferred
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
- High-level of customer support and service experience preferred
- Comfortable interacting with all levels of the company (President, Management, Foreman, Helpers, etc.)
- Detail oriented and comfortable with a fast-paced, high-performance environment
- Ability to assess situations and make decisions based on urgency and risk
- Ability to set priorities, determine strategies and solve problems
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
