What are the responsibilities and job description for the Routed Small Package Delivery Contractor - Savannah GA position at Select Express & Logistics?
CONTRACTORS WITH 16' BOX TRUCK NEEDED
Job Type: Contract
Pay: Minimum $200-400 per day on days worked based on truck size and quantity delivered
Service Days: Monday-Friday
The work available in your area involves routed deliveries of packaged goods for a one man team. The route is Monday-Friday starting at the same warehouse each morning. The deliveries are residential deliveries.
Owners of sprinter vans and all size box trucks are eligible for this work.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a 1099 position.
Requirements:
- You must own/lease/rent a sprinter or box truck
- Must Comply with vehicle registrations and DOT/med card as well as various state laws for the commercial vehicle being used to complete work
- Must be paid to an EIN which is a legal entity such as LLC, C Corp., S Corp., or LLP
- Must have good customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively
