Selectek is seeking an Inside Sales Representative in Newnan, GA.

Job Details:

  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement sales plan for the region that dovetails into long range sales and marketing strategies for the business. This work will include establishing appropriate expectations and performance metrics for the region.
  • Participate in company meetings to discuss, fine-tune, and help create strategic plans.
  • Effectively manage accounts and customer relationships, leveraging company resources to accomplish stated goals.
  • Develop and enhance relationships with key customer personnel.
  • Monitor competitors’ products, practices, and pricing.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current and future industry trends.
  • Participate in industry trade association activities.
  • Effectively communicate and report internally to ensure proper customer service and efforts are in sync with sales leadership
  • Generate and qualify leads
  • Presentation of company products and services
  • Present proposals and quotations
  • Negotiate with customer
  • Respond to sales inquiries, concerns, via phone, electronically or in person
  • Maintain a safe work record both while at the customer and during your travels
  • Excellent in communication and follow-up. This person, in effect, will be running their own business. This is an individual contributing role within a team context. It is essential that one have well developed self and leadership skills/habits and be well disciplined.
  • Driven and” work smart”. The qualified individual will understand the importance of prioritization, be a self-starter and operate with an appropriate sense of urgency. One must enjoy being close to the business and willing to “roll up their sleeves” to engage at the customer site.
  • Communication Skills. Solid communication and listening skills to connect at all levels, as well has having the discipline to report on a timely basis.
  • Interpersonal skills. To be successful this individual must be driven and self-motivated. The ability to establish and build effective relationships with those above, below, and with peers is essential. This individual must be a good compliment to and effective extension of the current sales team.

Required:

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience
  • Must have excellent Customer Service skills and understand relationship selling.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels of the organization and with external customers
  • Must be organized, Self-reliant, possess time management skills, and great attention to detail.
  • Microsoft 365 experience (Outlook, Dynamics, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and other online sales tools
  • Looking for a positive “Can-Do” attitude
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Pay range: $45,000 - $65,000
