Overview
The Learning Technology Specialist is responsible for supporting the administration of the learning management system (LMS). This role will focus on the day-to-day operation of the platform, providing technical support, configuring new properties, users, course assignments, and setting up and maintaining security permissions and learning matrixes. This includes ongoing updates, assignments, audits and learning metrics reporting. Works with learning stakeholders to publish new courses, which includes all configurations such as settings, assignments, automation rules, reporting and communication.
Responsibilities
Support administration of the company’s LMS in daily operations and long-term goals.
Troubleshoot user and course issues on LMS.
Monitor the Learning inbox to provide timely and accurate execution of customer requests.
Thoroughly research customer requests and questions and provide suggestions for resolution.
Test new courseware and LMS functionalities.
Keep current on LMS updates and product releases, communicate and train global administrators on new functionality.
Ensure record control of Instructor Led Training information with input from users, subject matter experts, trainers and other learning development personnel to deliver accurate learning plans and histories.
Create and maintain SOPs and process documents.
Assist in the rollout of the LMS to new properties.
Develop, build and analyze reports on LMS usage, user usage and other key performance indicators.
Maintain online learning matrix and user list and ensure accurate version control process.
Maintains data integrity and confidentiality.

Qualifications
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND CERTIFICATIONS
Degree in Computer Science, IT or Learning Technology or equivalent certifications.
Experience with administration, coordination and database experience of Learning Management Platforms such as Cornerstone, Moodle, SumTotal, Workday etc.
Minimum of three years’ experience supporting or administering a modern cloud-based learning management system or equivalent.
Minimum of three years’ experience providing technical support or equivalent experience.
Operate ethically to protect the brand and utilize programs designed to Save The Planet.
SKILLS
Strong collaboration skills with the ability to interact effectively, efficiently, and professionally with stakeholders.
Technical skills including troubleshooting, and understanding of directory, file structures, and systems.
Flawless attention to detail and written/oral communication skills, including the ability to comprehend and explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience in a professional language, both written and spoken.
Must possess strong communication and listening skills, excellent speaking, reading, and writing.
Knowledge of eLearning authoring software a plus.
SCORM/AICC knowledge required.
Strong problem solving and diagnosing skills.
Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel tools (pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, power query).
Ability to verify own work accuracy.
Experience in report creation connecting multiple data sources in tools such as Tableau.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to be a team player and the ability to work with minimal supervision require.

Ability to move through the corporate office (standing, walking, kneeling, bending) for extended periods of time.
Ability to sit/stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to make repeating movements of the arms, hands, and wrists.
Ability to express or exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound by ear.
Manual dexterity, hand eye coordination, and ability to work with hand above shoulders.
Ability to tolerate exposure to fluorescent lights, heat, cold, and loud/noisy environments.
Ability to travel via automobile, train or airplane for long periods of time.
