About the Role
Senior Helpers is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to provide support in our Residents’ homes. The Caregivers support the residents in all tasks and responsibilities. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently and have a pleasant and friendly personality.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Provide personal care and protection to our Residents in their homes
- Assist residents with physical therapy exercises
- Assist with meal preparation and preparation of daily meals
- Transport residents in a safe and timely manner
- Perform housekeeping duties within a residents home
- Assist with other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must have two years experience working with seniors
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Physical ability and stamina to work long hours
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family, staff and supervisors
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.55 per hour
