This position is responsible for providing benefits administration support within the Human Resources department. Handles issues such as benefits administration and maintains Corporate Office employee files. This position reports to the Benefits Administrator.
Job Description
- Answer employees’ questions and records employee enrollment in benefit programs under the direction of the Benefits Administrator.
- Review reports from plan providers to verify accuracy and resolve differences.
- Enter benefits-related data into HRIS.
- Send enrollment information and payment to benefit plan providers and other plan administrators.
- Produce reports of benefit enrollments, benefit deductions, and plan participation as needed.
- Assist in the administration of the various employee benefit programs, such as medical, dental, and vision, life and AD&D, part time benefits, voluntary benefits and COBRA.
- Assist with processing claims for Life and AD&D, STD, and LTD.
- Assist with the implementation of new benefit programs.
- Resolve employee problems with the carrier representatives.
- Respect and maintain confidentiality of the office, its records and restricted information.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 1 years of experience in Benefits
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Human Resources or other related field
- You have experience in a corporate office setting
- You have have experience using Microsoft products, as well an HRIS system (ADP Vantage preferred)
- You have great attention to detail
- You have great communication skills and enjoy frequent communication and interaction with personnel inside and outside of the company
- You respect and maintain confidentiality of the office, its records and restricted information
