Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant-New Orleans, LA
This position requires advanced Psychiatric Skill Sets. You must have experience prescribing and/or recommending psychotropic medications.
It is an exciting time at Senior PsychCare! We have been experiencing growth in New Orleans, LA and surrounding areas. Our company takes a team care approach in providing psychiatric and psychotherapy services to patients that reside in nursing home facilities. We are currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with experience prescribing psychotropic medications to become part of our outstanding team.
Support for SPC providers includes:
- Monthly Staff Meetings
- Regular treatment team meetings in nursing home settings/virtual meetings
- In-services/Community Education
- Financial Assistance with Continuing Education Units (CEUs), up to $750/year and 3 paid CEU participation days
- Flexible Scheduling, Monday-Friday, regular business hours, no on call
- Part Time and Full Time Positions
- Paid Holidays and Paid Time Off
- Reimbursement for Mileage

Qualifications:
- Licensed in Louisiana to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with Psychiatric experience
- Experience with Geriatrics is preferred
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus
- Driving Required
- Must be a team-player
- Must be adaptive and flexible
