Front Desk Coordinator

Coordinates and executes activities of the Williams Center reception area. Serves as the first line of communication between Williams Center and public. Answers and directs incoming phone calls as well as greets, engages with, and directs the public, guests, and participants of the day center. Performs administrative functions such as data entry, order supplies, maintain inventory, receive mail and packages, and processes mailings. Serves as a member of the Center’s Leadership team.

Education, Experience, Training:
High school graduate with previous training in office procedures, and computer skills. College education helpful, but not necessary. Experience working with older adults. Current CPR and First Aid training.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Ability to maintain professional, calm, and personable composure in all situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop relationships quickly.
  • General knowledge of office practices, procedures, and equipment (fax, copier, postage machine)
  • Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Excellent customer service, communication and listening skills.
  • Attention to detail, ability to organize themselves and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Front desk: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Computer skills: 1 year (Required)
  • Microsoft Office: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

  • CPR Certification (Preferred)
  • First Aid Certification (Preferred)
