We are currently seeking a CMM Programmer for our 1st Shift (6 am - 3:30 pm) at our El Cajon location. 

What does the job involve?

Develops and tests numerical control programs by creating, proofing, and maintaining the Numerical Control Data for the operation of coordinate measuring machines (CMM).

 What will my responsibilities include?

• Evaluate customer drawings and quality specifications for programming the CMM to measure and record part dimensions per the part drawings.
• Develops and Encodes programs for the CMM machines, prepares set up data, posts encoded data to the proper equipment, and pre-proofs the data prior to match proofing and proofs the machining operation.
• Maintains stringent configuration control for all Numerical Control Data in accordance with the Configuration Control Requirements.
• Coordinates with quality and mfg. engineers to ensure proper quality documentation meets customer requirements.
• Evaluates CMM programs for correct sequencing and efficiency.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. May require training in hazardous material handling, dependent upon job assignment.

What key skills and experience do I need?

• Microsoft Office.
• GD&T experience.
• PCDimis and Calypso programming experience.
• Excellent communication skills.

What qualifications should I have?

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Vocational/Specialized Training.

Experience:

• 3-5 years of Manufacturing related experience.
