Unit / Patient Information: We are a 24-bed general surgery unit specializing in post-surgical care of GYN, urology, plastics, vascular, neuro, spine, and abdominal patient procedures. Our patient population is diverse and interesting.
You will have the opportunity to connect and build interpersonal relationships with patients, build trust, and encourage them on their recovery journey. You will have a long-term impact in a short amount of time. A career in this specialty is rewarding because you assist and are a witness to the patient's journey to perform physical activities that they have not been able to do for months or years. Minimum Requirements
License and Certification
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
Education
- RN-Associate’s Degree, or
- RN-Bachelor’s Degree, or
