What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Networking position at Sentinel?
Sentinel is seeking a Network Engineer for one of our rapidly expanding customers. This candidate will be responsible for. This individual will be expected to be a Cisco network subject matter expert. This individual will be responsible for designing, installing and troubleshooting WAN/LAN/wireless network systems to meet the functional business objectives. This position is a contract-to-hire opportunity requiring an onsite technical support specialist in Chicago, Illinois.
Qualifications:- Experience with Cisco routers and switches
- Experience with network design and implementation on a large scale
- Experience working with Cisco, Palo Alto, and/or Fortinet solutions
- Experience with Cisco Security products such as FDT, FMC, AMP, DUO, Umbrella
- Experience in performing migrations and upgrades on various platforms
- Cisco ACI and SD WAN experience
- Familiar implementing wireless networks with Cisco wireless LAN controllers using both traditional centralized deployments as well as converged access
- Exceptional customer relations skills
- Certifications strongly preferred
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
