What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Clinical Director position at Serenity Community Services?

The Asst. Clinical Director will:

· Serve as a member of the agency’s executive team and work together with the team to ensure Serenity Community Services accomplishes its mission

· Oversite and implementation of quality clinical programming

· Monitoring and auditing of documentation including but not limited to; treatment plans, individual therapy notes, group therapy notes and medication management notes.

· Participates in and oversees the admission process for all clients being admitted.

· Responsible for ensuring the proper onboarding and training of new clinical staff.

· Ensure compliance with all regulating entities, including CARF.

· Participate in agency compliance with regulatory monitoring including site visits by DBHDD, ASO, and DATP

· Overseas all Audits, client and employee surveys

· Participates in public relations events as needed.

· Provide individual, group and family therapy.

· Provides on call support for staff as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Develops and executes operational plans to meet and/or exceed the strategic goals and objectives for Serenity Community Services

· Establishes, implements, and advance operational standards. Monitors quality and progress of process improvements and program growth.

· May assists or lead performance improvement/lean activities, interdepartmental process development or financial projects that affect clinical services, budgeted dollars, and/or revenue forecasts.

· Evaluates client satisfaction surveys to assess abnormal trends and areas of opportunity that improve quality of care, and overall client service experience. Develops and implements strategies to improve.

· Conducts chart audits and direct observations to determine compliance with established standards and policies and facilitates improvement when indicated.

· Solves complex problems and supports projects by using excellent communication, clinical experiences, and problem-solving skills.

· Conducts periodic utilization and scheduling assessments to ensure optimal scheduling of on- site medical provider’s scheduled hours, as well as, overall efficiency of client services functions.

· Assists clinical and client services staff in the implementation of evidence-based practices as dictated by regulatory agencies, local and federal levels

Education/ Licensure Requirements:

· At least 5 years of management experience in a clinical setting

· Fully Licensed through the Georgia Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, or Marriage and Family Therapist; with a current valid license in the State of Georgia, defined as one of the following:

o Physician

o Licensed advanced practice registered nurse with psychiatric specialty

o Licensed clinical psychologist

o Licensed clinical professional counselor

o Licensed marriage and family therapist

o Licensed clinical social worker.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
