Responsible for developing a collaborative and efficient workplace with specific attention to quality client care. Performs a range of duties including setting long-term goals and overseeing record-keeping processes. Has proven experience in a nursing leadership role, outstanding organizational skills, and in-depth knowledge of healthcare industry policies.

Responsibilities
- Manages and leads all pediatric nursing personnel operations.
- Analyzes referrals and delegates responsibilities appropriately.
- Plans and oversees admission, nursing, and client care processes.
- Serves as a spokesperson for nursing matters and represents the hospital with professional nursing and related organizations.
- Develops short and long-term goals for the entire nursing department.
- Establishes new policies and updates existing policies to improve the standard of care for clients.
- Verifies employee credentials under his or her position supervision.
- Participates in the development and implementation of resident care policies. Plans and conducts orientation programs for new personnel.
- Develops work schedules to provide optimum resident care using available personnel.
- Ensure that client’s rights are maintained at all times.
- Acts as liaison to referral sources, is available for evaluation of clients to determine appropriateness of services, and informs referral sources of outcome of services.
- Addresses escalations from intake coordinators and supervisors, practices excellent phone and interpersonal skills.
- Maintains department budgets and records all expenses.
- Responds to any nursing-related issues in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with medical staff and other departments to ensure company efficiency.
- Oversees all record-keeping processes and ensures all necessary documents are accurate and up-to-date.
- Hires and trains new nursing staff members.
- Evaluates staff performance and prepares accurate reports detailing your findings.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Qualified RN
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a nursing management role.
- In-depth knowledge of legal policies and regulations in the healthcare industry.
- Extensive experience working with pediatrics and home healthcare.
- Certified nursing and CPR qualifications.
- Aptitude for problem-solving.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
