We are looking for an Executive Director to lead our team of dynamic recovery coaches, behavioral health technicians, support staff, facilities and more. You will be given the opportunity to design and run a program that offers clients many opportunities to join in and participate in activities that help during their journey to recovery and ongoing coping skills. We are looking for individuals that bring specialized talents such as music, arts, yoga and much more that would be interested in running group activities to help make our clients addiction recovery meaningful and fulling through the use of a variety of programs.

The Director of Operations is responsible for the daily administration and supervision of all facilities/clinics/programs. This includes fostering the compliance with regulatory standards, successful business performance, and the direct supervision of facilities/clinics/programs directors and operational staff. He/she is also responsible for the planning and executing of specific projects, designed to assist in the accomplishment of the expansion plans of the organization.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This role works under the supervision of the VP of Operations and is primarily responsible for:
- Supervising a team to assure timely completion of work and adherence to program policies and procedures.
- Providing weekly supervision through documentation of assessment of professional competencies, skills, and recommendations through weekly meetings and direct and periodic observation.
- Provide supervision and support new hire orientation and training for staff.
- Complying with state/federal/and or certification/licensure training requirements and assure compliance.
- Provides supervision to operations staff.
- Looks after the overall management and quality of operational program’s/departments.
- Provide employment support for operational staff as needed.
- Provide oversight, guidance, and completion of all location complaints and investigations related to staff and clients.
- Maintains compliance with national accreditation, governmental regulations and maintains all program operating licenses.
- Responsible for overall program performance, quality outcomes, including patient satisfaction with services.
- Responsible for all facility/clinic improvements and appearance.
- Adheres to company standards of conduct.
- To ensure that the developmental programs meet the organizational goals and objectives.
- Plan strategies and developmental plans for the welfare of the organization.
- Co-ordinate with the CEO, other senior management for the development and implementation of programs.
- Ensure sufficient communication of information between all levels of the organization and implementation of strategies.
- To lead the organization, focusing on all the core functions of the organization.
- Ensures organizational corporate and clinical compliance to outside agencies and laws to maintain licensing and the welfare of organization.
- Review of breaches and development strategies, policies and procedures and subsequent implementation.
- Responsible for the growth and development of organization and in its growth and acquisition of new business, leads the due diligence process, presenting findings and recommendations to the CEO
Qualifications and Experience:
- Recognized professional education with an appropriate behavioral health experience.
- Direct clinical experience working with substance abuse/mental health patients with demonstrated knowledge and understanding.
- Strong problem solving and group work leadership skills.
- Ability to interact with people of all ages and cultural backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Sound, current computer and small office management skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills including proper use of communication tools and technologies.
- Ability to work flexible hours including some evening and weekend requirements.
- Access to a reliable personal vehicle, documented expenses shall be reimbursed.
Skills and Competency
The Candidate will show skills and competency in working with administrative staff, planning and delivery of care and review of effective methods of interventions in order to shape continuing service provision that will meet the needs of the organization.
They will possess the ability to listen actively when spoken to and effectively communicates their thoughts to others. They will be sensitive to religious, ethnic and cultural differences in others and show respect and empathy. They will be able to work alone but also in a team, with fellow staff, in the business setting and will actively seek out advice and/or guidance in order to solve problems. The Candidate will have excellent time management skills and actively seek to accomplish tasks and be able to use a variety of methods and ideas to solve problems, whilst also being open to suggestions from others in order to find solutions.
They will possess excellent project management skills/competence and will have the ability to manage several projects simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, sensitivity and approachability are essential, to enable them to connect with the internal and external teams/individuals with whom they are working. They must possess the ability to manage under pressure and conflicting demands, whilst remaining professional at all times, in order to make decisions and manage change.
