What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver and Bindery Operator position at Serva Terra Inc?
A rapidly-expanding printing company, has an opening for a delivery driver operator in Bindery (Cutting, Folding, Saddle Stitching), whose responsibility will include operating on daily orders and meeting product deadlines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Driving and making deliveries
- Monitor machine and make adjustments as necessary to ensure proper operation
- Perform minor repairs and basic troubleshooting
- Maintain a clean work area
- Meeting and/or exceeding productivity goals set by the Production Manger
- Setup and operate equipment in an efficient, safe, orderly, and quality conscious manner
- Must complete all work efficiently, accurately and according to schedule
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Quick, efficient, understanding directions/routes
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all personnel
- Must possess a good eye for detail
- Accountability and initiative is expected, as well as a "can-do" approach
- Excellent attendance required
- Machine specific training will be available
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
