This role will be paramount in the overall success of the accounting team and will be well integrated with the roles of the other team members.

What you’ll do:
- Post journal entries related to revenue recognition, cash movement, customer receivables/payables
- Analyze and reconciles general ledger accounts
- Monitor and work internal queue for loan repurchases from investors due to modifications & liquidations
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and research outages, engaging with other LOBs as needed
- Assist with monthly investor reporting requirements for private investors
- Candidates that show high level of aptitude will be included in advanced projects as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree Accounting or Finance, or equivalent training and work experience
- Must have an intermediate understanding of Microsoft excel
- A thorough understanding of financial and accounting concepts
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment with non-negotiable deadlines
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Experience in the mortgage industry is a plus
- High level of attention to detail is a must
- Experience with accounting software, especially LoanVision, is a plus
- Experience with Black Knight MSP is a plus

Salary : $47,000 - $55,000
