We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Security Supervisor to oversee our security personnel and ensure operational efficiency on site. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for guards on duty, facilitating direct communication to address any issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for security guards on duty, ensuring direct communication to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide immediate corrective actions to address any issues with guards, including coverage gaps due to no-shows.
- Ensure that all posts are filled and adequately covered for each shift, arranging for prompt replacements when guards are unavailable.
- Oversee the training of all guards before their assignment to specific posts, maintaining operational standards.
- Ensure guards are equipped with the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and supplies to perform their duties safely and effectively.
- Communicate relevant policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to guards, including workplace conduct and safety regulations.
- Manage documentation related to incidents, including incident reports, ensuring that any complaints or deficiencies are addressed promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain quality assurance by ensuring that all work performed meets specified standards and addressing any deficiencies noted by the Contracting Officer Representative (COR).
- Remain available for direct communication with guards during shifts to resolve issues as they occur, ensuring smooth operational flow.
- Manage leave requests from guards and ensure that replacements are found quickly to maintain continuous coverage.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or security role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond effectively to changing situations.
- Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.17 - $24.15 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
