What are the responsibilities and job description for the Non-Inventory Receiver position at Serviap Logistics?
Objective: Check, record, control and organize the receipt, stock and movement of materials, tools and equipment from the Client and Serviap Logistics. Be the focal point with the Procurement Area and suppliers of the project.
Essential Functions
- Set up and coordinate the Storage Area for Materials, Tools and Equipment.
- Organize the flow and locations of the Storage Area, designate positions for receiving, checking and stock, assigning and applying the correct addressing in the Storage Area.
- Receive and inspect materials, tools and equipment.
- Check and compare all Invoices vs. ID vs. Physical Assets received.
- Control and record all movement of materials, tools and equipment.
- Prepare and update daily the Inventory of all materials, tools and equipment.
- Create physical and digital files of all documents received.
- Update the Control and Record of Materials and Equipment daily in Excel and NI App
- Immediately report delays, irregularities and / or changes in the Receipt of Materials, Tools and Equipment to the P.M.
- Interact with customers and suppliers to identify and coordinate requirements and execution of work on projects and locations.
- Be the facilitator of the Project Manager and the Management Team to ensure the correct performance of the activities of the entire team.
- Maintain constant communication with the Procurement Area and suppliers on all matters relevant to the project, actively participating in face-to-face and online meetings remotely for all projects.
- Prepare and share weekly updated reports.
- Be fully responsible for the Company's Warehouse and all physical and virtual Management of the Company's and Customer's Stock when involved in Projects (Organization, Cleaning, Inventory, Records, Reports, Receipts, Shipping and Final Delivery).
- Work together with the Procurement Area to seek new opportunities and develop new suppliers.
- Work in coordination with Operations Management, HR and Purchasing to ensure the effectiveness of its actions, results and project deliveries.
- Ensure execution and delivery within customer quality standards and health and safety policies. Train your Teams to these respective standards.
- Focus on good customer service and satisfaction, ensuring compliance with internal rules, policies, processes, and regulations.
- Maintain constant order and cleanliness in the execution of the Project.
- Ensure compliance with the Work Plan and carry out the necessary modifications and adjustments for the Project.
- Fully comply with the schedule of activities and deliveries to the customer.
- Perform all necessary operational tasks and all activities that are requested or assigned by Management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Agile methodologies for planning, scheduling, and operations control.
- Knowledge of technical and regulatory standards.
- Ability to identify and mitigate risks and delays.
- Experience in Change Management and Action Plans.
- Knowledge of audit processes and techniques.
- Knowledge of quality systems, protocols, and certifications.
- Experience in logistics, construction, production, or maintenance.
- Knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Failure Analysis, and 5S.
- Experience in continuous and focused improvement.
- 1 year or more in Logistics.
- Have worked in Logistics, Industrial Production or Maintenance.
