ServiceCore is seeking an energetic and ambitious Product Manager to join our Report Business Intelligence (BI) team. This is a great opportunity to work, remotely or locally, with an amazing team located in Lakewood, CO and across the US to help achieve our mission to deliver actionable insights from data to our customers' businesses.
You will have a critical role working with our stakeholders to capture requirements that will provide our customers with business analytics and internal team members with business insights needed to make decisions. Your experience as a Product Manager means translating these requirements into user stories for the Data Engineers and BI Developers. You are a passionate advocate for your stakeholders and will drive the deliverables to completion.
Job Responsibilities
To successfully deliver data products in a fast paced working environment you will need to:
- Develop a deep understanding of current and future reporting and data needs of our customers
- Work in close collaboration with other Product Managers and stakeholders to execute on our long term roadmap
- Proficiently capture an summarize stakeholder needs and goals in clear and concise themes, epics, and user stories
- Refine product requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria
- Groom, manage and prioritize the product backlog based on changing requirements
- Support the release train through product increment planning
- Ensure products and releases are launched successfully and on schedule
- Be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of your product
- Collaborate with the Product Team and other departments on product launch communication, training and enablement and ongoing product adoption tactics.
- Provide ongoing support to stakeholders and end users of our Report BI product
- Monitor ongoing use of the Report BI products to help invest/divest future product decisions
Minimum Qualifications
- 3 years of experience as a Product Manager in an Agile (Scrum) environment
- Proven experience of working effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Experience using Confluence or similar tool for requirements capturing
- Experience using JIRA or other user story and task management tool
- Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills
- Proven leadership experience and strong team skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience working with distributed teams across multiple time zones
- Self-starter with a growth mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, another quantitative field or equivalent work experience
- Scrum / Agile certification
- Experience as a Product Manager or similar role managing the requirements for a team of Data Engineers and BI developers delivering actionable insights via data products.
- Experience in storytelling and in particular data storytelling, and ability to create mockups
- A keen eye for a good user experience when presenting data
- Familiarity with data engineering concepts such as ETL pipelines, data warehouse infrastructure, etc.
- Familiarity with data visualization with BI tools such as Sigma or PowerBI
