PURCHASING / BUYER - Full-Time- Immediate Opening - For Our Southern Offices at SERVICE TODAY
HVAC & PLUMBING
We are currently searching for highly skilled and experienced Purchasers for our Federalsburg MD or Seaford DE branch location
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma required
- 1-3 years exp preferred quotes and/or parts experience
- 1 year exp preferred in purchasing for HVAC or similar industry
- 1 year exp preferred in negotiating with vendors
- 1 year exp preferred and knowledge in the basic principles of inventory management
- Applicants with a background in sales are highly encouraged to apply.
- Applicants with previous experience in a mechanical field such as HVAC, plumbing or automotive service preferred.
- Applicants with previous experience working with Service Titan a big plus!
QUALIFICATIONS
- Integrity
- Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook proficiency
- Highly analytical problem solver
- Highly detail-oriented, well-organized, and committed to driving results
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to apply knowledge of purchasing and inventory management to real-world situations
- Familiarity with supply chain processes (i.e., inventory planning, warehouse management)
- Ability to handle high volume during peak demand times
- Box up parts
- Lift up to 50lbs – occasionally
COMPENSATION
- Based on experience.
