The Director of Services is an exempt position that earns an annual salary of $58,000 or more, dependent upon qualifications and experience. In addition to paid training, we also offer generous benefits including two health plan options, dental, 401(k) matching, sick and vacation leave, AFLAC insurance, and a free $15,000 life insurance policy. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A DIRECTOR OF SERVICES
Reporting to the Executive Director, you will join the Senior Leadership team of Sesdac, and supervise four Assistant Directors of Services to lead the organization in the provision of agency wide services and supports and provide on-going management, training, evaluation and consultation to staff members to provide and coordinate services to meet the goals of the people supported by Sesdac. You will act on the organization's behalf in the absence of the Executive Director.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS ROLE
- Bachelor's degree in rehabilitation, psychology, sociology, education, social services, or related field.
- A minimum of five years' experience in working with persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a supervisory position.
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience in the intellectual an developmental disabilities profession will be considered.
WORK SCHEDULE
This position offers a typical work schedule of Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. However, based on the needs of the organization there may be times where hours may extend outside this time-frame.
