Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in human services, or four (4) years’ experience in managing operations of a residential facility within the Behavioral Health field
- Experience in Substance Abuse or Mental Health field
- Demonstrated track record of effectively supervising staff
- Ability to:
- Pass a drug screening and State of Alaska background check
- Qualify for SFA’s commercial automobile insurance
- A current valid driver’s license
Preferred:
- Chemical Dependency Counselor II certification or QAP equivalent or the ability to acquire CDC II or QAP equivalent within 3 years of date of hire (If applicable)

Job responsibilities:
- Responsible for the daily operations of the program in accordance with the agencies policies and procedures.
- Participate as an active and effective member of the SFA leadership team
- Hire, evaluate and supervise staff including, but not limited to: staff scheduling, performance monitoring, assistance in developing growth goals, training…
- Support residents by assisting and supervising wake-up, bedtime, personal care routines, completion of chores and laundry, meals, meal preparation, recreational activities
- Responsible to attend the operational portion of the clinical treatment team meetings, providing operational insight as needed
- Ensure the facility are following the Set Free Alaska policies and procedures, safety protocols and adherence to CARF standards
- Responsible for the facility daily operations to include maintenance, coordination of snow and trash removal, fire alarm, telephone and internet. The PM will work closely with the Facility Manager and Finance Director regarding coordination of repair or improvements
- Responsible for community outreach and point of contact for all recovery committees/events
- Coordinate all aspects of program financial procedures in accordance with agencies policy and procedures and assure the proper and prudent expenditures of all funds as the manager of the facility budget
- Provide reports as requested from SFA leadership
