Overview/ Job Responsibilities
The CPI/VE Coordinator shall provide general administrative office duties for assigned organization in accordance with Government policies and regulations.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Training, tracking to monitor progress, and advising the organization on Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) and Value Engineering (VE) initiatives, activities, and projects.
Facilitating CPI meetings with the organization’s management.
Advising on VE and Lean Six Sigma (LSS) topics and attend VE and LSS meetings.
Supporting CPI statistical analysis of projected value and advise the CPI/VE project manager on accepted LSS process steps and methods.
Interfacing with internal and external stakeholders, including higher-level organizations, TACOM Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC), other Program Executive Offices, Headquarters Department of Army (HQDA), and other CPI/VE Points of Contact on yearly goals, objectives, process requirements, and completion incentives. The contractor shall provide regular status updates to the organization leadership.
Executing analyses using models, simulation, and virtual prototypes to optimize organizational performance.
Making improvement recommendations based on these analyzes.
Utilizing systems engineering practices and tools to identify, analyze, and evaluate organizational approaches that accelerate schedule, decrease cost, improve performance, and reduce risk.
Providing recommendations on the processes and approaches to be implemented for organizational improvement.
Providing process improvement and VE recommendations related to future organizational capability enhancements.
Developing and maintaining organizational database tracking metrics to access and report on the effectiveness of implemented approaches.
Uploading draft and final versions of briefings, charts, written narrative documents, reports, schedules, pictures, videos, and other related products to organizational electronic database sites as instructed by Government leads.
Identifying products worked on in their individual monthly progress submissions for inclusion into the consolidated Monthly Progress and Status Report IAW CDRL A004.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have a Secret Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline related to the specific skill (4 years' experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
- CPI/VE Coordinator experience
