Mission Systems Engineer

Overview/ Job Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Mission Design:  System architecture, CONOPs, Mission Modelling & Simulation, Fault Autonomy, Recommended Operating Procedure development
• This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master 3 years' related work experience). 
• Must have Active Security Clearance 
• Direct experience with Space Systems Engineering groups
• Level 2 (2 years experience to Level 5 (14 years experience)

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with Software Coding languages (XML, Tcl/TK)
• Understanding of System Engineering, focusing on Attitude Control Systems
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc
• Exposure to software qualification/certification in accordance with any of the following (Verification/ Validation / Readiness)
• Experience in Flight Operations Mission Engineering
