In this role, you will be supporting an Intel client on-site in Broomfield accomplishing the following duties:
- Support process owner(s) and Operational Excellence team(s) in identifying, verifying, analyzing, and implementing process improvement and process re-engineering opportunities.
- Identify and document existing processes within our client’s environment in support of process improvement initiatives and developing system requirements for future systems.
- Conduct research, analysis, evaluation and assessment of existing processes and procedures and develop improvement recommendations to streamline and gain operational efficiencies:
- Assessing existing client capabilities for meeting federal government-wide initiatives
- Assessing reporting and transparency requirements in accordance with protecting classified data
- Process re-engineering to improve quality, customer satisfaction, efficiency, cycle time and lower costs to improve IT services quality.
- Definition of relevant process metrics and KPIs.
- Development of organizational changes to drive efficiencies
- Coordination/collaboration with internal process owners, managers and directors
- Provide methodology, technical and analytical support for process improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate the design and implementation of new/improved process models along with associated training.
- Work with process owner(s) toward the implementation and adoption of organizational changes within our client’s environment, acting as a trusted change agent.
- As needed, perform project management, analytics, and controls to ensure milestones are met and deliverables achieved for the process improvement initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Computer Science, IT, or related degree. Additional 4 yrs relevant experience in lieu of Bachelors.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience implementing IT process improvement and change initiatives with a federal department, agency, or private sector. (i.e. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt)
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience with IT Service Management and ITIL framework.
- Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools such as ServiceNow, SolarWinds, Cherwell for the purpose of analyzing process data.
- Solid analysis and reporting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to facilitate reoccurring technical/non-technical meetings and working groups
- Ability to discern and think strategically
- Ability to clearly document, explain, and present to technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
Clearance Level: Top Secret / SCI Clearance Required
