What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assessment and Selection (A&S) Whole Marine Systems Manager position at Seventh Dimension?
Overview:
Provide a training program, software delivery schedule, supervise testing, evaluate projects, conduct research,
provide training and review after action reports (AAR) in direct efforts to improve and refine the
Assessment and Selection program. This employee will maintain an administrative standard operation procedure (SOP) within A&S Branch that assists the command in tracking candidate statistics and will provide management of all critical information required within candidate packages derived from the Whole Marine Program/ GideonSOFT.
General Responsibilities:
- Maintains and supports the integrity of the operating system environment
- Administers, installs, and troubleshoots a variety of operating systems
- Performs systems maintenance tasks, such as system back-up, recovery, and file maintenance
- Schedules, installs, and tests system software upgrades
- Resolves technical problems
- Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project and must be able to work independent and collaborative in nature
- Provide training to uniformed and contractor personnel on a recurring basis to ensure competence with the use of the unique software and instructor data collection devices including all modules listed by the Government for A&S
General Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, or a related field or equivalent experience
- 5 years’ administrative experience researching, evaluating, and implementing innovative technology-based solutions to meet SOF requirements
- 5 years’ experience in a Data Preparation and Process Analysis and Improvement.
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Possess a secret clearance on day one of contract execution
- Pass vetting through RapidGate/DBDS for unescorted access on a military installation
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs):
- Must be willing to work eight hours during normal working conditions and
- Be able to work up to 12.5 hours daily while deployed to an off-site location
- Be able to work non-standard work weeks and workdays, to include longer than 8-hour days and some weekends/holidays, during specific phases of training.
