Direct Support Professional/Caregiver

Typical Daily Duties:
- Work one-on-one with adults with brain injury diagnosis.
- Provide supports within homelike community setting, helping adults of all abilities to strive.
- Work closely with families, involving them in the therapeutic process.
- Work collaboratively with Program Managers, Nursing Team and Behavioral team members to ensure treatment plans are meeting participants needs
- Deliver therapeutic supervision to participants and families during treatment and education activities
- Document behavioral progress notes and collaborate with team members
- This role is highly flexible and can be a primary or secondary job – it can work around your availability. We have a variety of schedules available, including daytime, evening or weekends.
- Assist in the participant behavior management by using non-aggressive, de-escalation technique provided as part of our hands on training!

Job Requirements:
- Behavioral caregiver experience (preferred) but not required
- High school diploma
- Valid/clean driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check
- A good attitude with the ability to work both within a team and independently
- A caring & compassionate mind
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift - we are FLEXIBLE! You can mix-n-match hours as needed.
- Holidays - holiday shifts qualify for additional pay!
- Evening shift
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
