Certified Nursing Assistant
Make a difference every day as a patient advocate providing quality of life-enhancing services to those we serve. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will perform hands-on nursing care with an emphasis on daily care needs and personal hygiene.
Responsibilities of CNA:
- Monitor the health conditions of individuals served and ensure quality services provided
- Initiate emergency procedures on a as needed bases
- Assist with bathing and toileting
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Maintain current progress notes and any other appropriate documentation
- Companionship and conversation
- Overall safety and wellbeing of clients
Qualifications required for the CNA position:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Driver's License from state of residence
- Must be minimum of 18 years of age
- Successful clearance of background checks
- Completion of CNA certification program and current CNA certification issued by state of Kentucky
- A caring attitude with a dedication to assisting others
