What are the responsibilities and job description for the Media Technician, On- Call position at SFMOMA?
The Media Technician (I) position supports the Museum's technology rich multimedia spaces including the Wattis Theater, White Box, Schwab Hall, Koret Education Center, the Pavilion, and Haas Atrium, and the technical production activities in support of the event, film, and interpretive programs. In this role, the Media Technician (I) performs technical and logistical support functions in service to internal and external event productions, the Museum's program and internal operations. Other duties include the deployment, physical installation, and configuration of AV equipment, audio and video mixing, general production and post-production activities, repair and preventative maintenance of equipment.
The position also works alongside Operations technical staff to address shared operational tasks and respond to general building issues requiring coordination between multiple areas. The position may support the Museum's offsite locations, as required.

Pay Rate: $26.84/hour
