Job Summary:
It is the responsibility of the Shower Ambassador to attend to the needs of shower area of the Sky Club guests (to include the showers, storage areas and reception) and help promote a relaxed atmosphere while providing excellent guest service. All duties are to be performed in accordance with federal, state, local laws, regulations, and ordinances, as well as department and Company policies, practices, and procedures, within the framework and intent of the Eurest Promise.
Responsibilities
- It is the responsibility of the Shower Ambassador to attend to the needs of shower area of the Sky Club guests (to include the showers, storage areas and reception) and help promote a relaxed atmosphere while providing excellent guest service
- All duties are to be performed in accordance with federal, state, local laws, regulations, and ordinances, as well as department and Company policies, practices, and procedures, within the framework and intent of the Eurest Promise
- Escorts shower guests to shower/bathroom rooms in courteous and timely manner
- Explains the set-up and workings of the showers to guests
- Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment
- Sanitize all surfaces
- Follows the eight-step cleaning procedure
- Restocks all linens, tissues, toilet paper and required products in shower rooms and appropriate storage areas
- Cleans and sanitizes walls, shower, bathroom, vanity and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for guests, client partners and staff
- Maintains a 20-minute downtime after sanitation procedures (this includes a 10-minute period that the shower ambassador must wait before entering the area and then another 10-minute period to thoroughly clean/sanitize the required area.)
- Must wear all appropriate PPE when cleaning shower rooms
- Seeks out other areas requiring cleaning; takes initiative to complete the task
- Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans
- Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures
- Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor
- Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines
- Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with guests, fellow employees, and client partners
- Resolves guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refers the matter to management
- Notifies supervisor of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
- Performs other duties as assigned
