Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our transportation and logistics services to potential clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong sales background and knowledge of the transportation industry. Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients in order to generate sales leads - Identify potential clients and conduct market research to understand their needs and requirements - Present and demonstrate our transportation and logistics services to prospective clients - Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients - Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of transportation services - Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing any inquiries or concerns in a timely manner - Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions - Meet or exceed sales targets on a regular basis Skills: - Proven experience in inside sales or a similar role - Strong knowledge of logistics, supply chain, and transportation sales - Familiarity with contract negotiation and sales management - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to build rapport with clients and establish long-term relationships - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically - Proficient in using CRM software to track sales activities and manage customer relationships - Knowledge of transportation planning and NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) operations is a plus We offer competitive compensation packages including base salary plus commission, as well as opportunities for career growth within our organization.
