Event Assistant

At SFTS Events, we work directly with charity organizations that help children in various ways. The goal of the Event Assistant is to help generate donations that go directly to our charity partners. As our footprint expands in the state of Colorado, we are looking to develop driven individuals into executive roles that help both our company and the charities we work with influence more children.

Acquiring customers requires getting attention and understanding individual needs. Our face-to-face, individualized marketing approach enables us to efficiently determine customer preference and quickly adapt our strategies so we can generate outcomes that traditional marketing & advertising cannot produce.

Position Details:

• Attend daily events with retail and corporate clients in order to educate the community on how their donations help the charities we work with
• Receive in-depth training on marketing and communications in order to effectively interact with customers and expand the impact our charity partners have
• Engage in daily team functions to develop personal and professional skills to both further career development and our clients' goals
• Interact with customers in a professional manner to process private donation details

Responsibilities:

• Cultivate an extensive understanding of the brands we represent
• Resourcefully implement promotional strategies
• Ensure customer satisfaction and retention
• Initiate the sales cycle and maximize profit
• Acquiesce to customer preferences
• Adapt quickly to changing environments
• Collaborate with team members to execute promotional activities

Qualifications:

• 0-2 years experience in serving/waiting, retail, or event-staffing
• Excited to learn skills that will lead to career development and community outreach
• Motivated to grow with a company focused on developing leadership and giving back to the community
• Determined to work with a team in order to reach company and client goals
• Consistent, solution-seeking individual with great enthusiasm for troubleshooting when encountering obstacles
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
