Our Marketing Strategy Managers are responsible for maintaining strong client relationships based on progress in achieving client’s marketing objectives, while maintaining profitability for the agency.
Requirements: It’s recommended, but not required, that Marketing Strategy Managers have a BA/BS degree in marketing, business, communications or related field and 1-2 years of experience in a Marketing Strategist or similar role.

  • thinks critically, proactively and with empathy when managing projects
  • establishes respectful, collaborative relationships with internal team members, clients and vendors

  • develops a deep knowledge of the clients’ business, competition, market challenges, marketing plan, brand strategy and research
  • builds rapport and credibility with clients based upon brand/product knowledge, proactivity and a demonstrated understanding of their business goals and how Sales Factory can solve them
  • communicates effectively and professionally in a verbal and written manner
  • maintains positive morale and sense of teamwork among agency staff
  • demonstrates initiative and willingness to assume greater responsibility
  • excels at organizing and prioritizing to deliver high quality work most efficiently
  • has the ability to lead others, across the agency, motivating them and fostering an environment of collaboration and trust
  • serves as the knowledge hub on assigned projects and accounts
  • is thorough and detail-oriented

Day-to-day expectations:
  • serve as day-to-day client contact on assigned accounts, maintaining direct, timely and appropriate communication with clients and team members
  • remain alert to new opportunities to grow the business
  • present plans, ideas and concepts to clients in a logical and persuasive manner, in the context of the overall business goals using the Sales Factory presentation process
  • provide regular client-related business updates internally
  • understand project priority and anticipate schedule conflicts to develop proactive solutions
  • assist in planning and execution of internal meetings, partner and client meetings (i.e. creative kickoffs, brand immersions, weekly client meetings, project postmortems)
  • write thoughtful, insights-based briefs leveraging the Sales Factory 4 Part Process
  • assist the team lead in strategic planning and direction
  • serve as a core team representative on smaller agency accounts
  • assist with proactive projection updates and delivery
  • work with marketing strategists to traffic programs and projects internally and externally, keeping them on strategy, on time and within budget
  • monitor industry research, retail environment, competitive activity and collect competitive samples
  • prepare accurate and timely production, media and other budgets and estimates for approval
  • proofread and review all work prior to submitting to the internal team or client for approval
