What are the responsibilities and job description for the Healthcare Sales - Molecular Lab Services position at SG Healthcare?
Shephard Group Heatlhcare Partners, LLC is one of the fastest growing medical services sales organization in the U.S. We have recently rolled out our molecular laboratory services offering that is a one-stop-shop for all reference and PCR lab services to physicians.
We are currently seeking highly experienced and successful laboratory sales consultants to build this segment of our business. As a laboratory service sales consultant you will build relationships with physicians and healthcare administrators. You will use your existing relationships with physicians and other healthcare decision makers to acquire new laboratory service accounts in private and hospital practices across all specialties, as well as short and long-term care facilities and assisted living facilities.
Please note that this is a 1099-Independent Contractor sales opportunity with commission-based compensation, including high residuals paid monthly. We only want professionals who are confident in their abilities and sales skills and are looking for a career that will deliver upward of $750K or more in annual income. We are seeking the best of the best and we offer the best compensation package you will find in any similar sales position.
Qualifications (please DO NOT apply if you do not meet all minimum qualifications listed below):
- Bachelor degree in healthcare or business related field OR an equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
- Minimum of 5-years selling reference lab services directly to physician practices. (Pharmaceutical reps will not be considered)
- Current book of business in territory for which you will work.
- Successful track record of closing sales while retaining an established book of business.
- Highly organized, punctual, dependable, and with excellent follow-through.
- Highly professional in appearance and mannerisms.
- Friendly, positive attitude at all times.
- Willing and able to learn new medical concepts and medical technology, and ultimately deliver that information to high-level medical professionals in an intelligent and professional manner.
- Ability to work effectively with little to no direct supervision.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of people.
- Able to shift focus effectively with shifting priorities in a high-energy sales environment.
