Description
Glennville Family Dentistry is looking for an experienced dental office manager. The ideal candidate will have the ability to create a warm and friendly environment for our patients, while proficiently and effectively managing all of the aspects of a multi-faceted practice. This role requires a self-motivated, dynamic individual who is able to work with a diverse patient base to provide each of them with a top-notch experience.
This is a full-time, exempt position.
We are looking for someone with strong dentistry and Dentrix experience.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Organizing all administrative aspects of the office including updating patient records, following up with patients, managing clinic and individual calendars, and providing a clear point of leadership within our organizational structure
- Ensuring the delivery of safe and top-quality dental care
- Organizing and presenting treatment plans/financial arrangements to patients
- Providing an efficient response to patients, doctors, and staff needs/inquiries
- Resolving patient issues in accordance with company policies and procedures, healthcare regulations, and dental board standards
- Facilitating staff meetings and driving communication among staff
- Monitoring production and collection goals
- Developing positive relationships with staff; manages performance and resolves conflicts; trains, coaches and develops knowledge and skills of staff
- Greeting patients by name and answering phones; preparing and explaining treatment plans and financial options to patients
- Greeting patients by name and with a smile; develop working relationships with patients
- Knowledge of and ability to comply with OSHA, state health administration, and HIPAA regulations.
What makes you stand out:
- Experience in leadership/management role with dental office experience is required
- Experience supporting business responsibilities and key performance metrics; forecast results, ensure all budget and production expectations are met
- Effectively communicate orally, both in-person and via telephone
- Strong aptitude for learning software systems; working knowledge of dental practice management software is a plus
- A proven business leader with organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills
