POSITION SUMMARY
As part of our Operations team at SGK, you are committed to ensuring that world-class customer service, delivery, and communication is always provided to our clients, guests, and employees. This role will pay attention to detail regarding our SGK brand and core values and ensure that your approach is always consistent and in line with our business strategy and operations.
DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
Site Coordinator
- Keep it running smoothly to create a great experience for our employees an any guests.
- Welcome and assist employees, guests and vendors to the building
- Meet and greet: professional guest greeting and recognizing regular guests; greeting new employee
Safety Coordinator
- Represent to Brand Experience and Corporate.
- Organize and oversee any on-site maintenance and minor repairs. Manage contractors on site and ensure they comply with all H&S legislation. Report any building issues to our Office Manager
- Manage security access passes for employees, vendors and guests
Event Coordinator
- Work with visioning team and align with other sites on events
- Be the go-to person for the day to day support of teams across the SGK Studio
- Assist with the organization and set-up of all internal events and internal moves. Contribute to event ideas and always strive to improve
- Assist with ordering catering for meetings, events, stationery areas and kitchen, including vending supplies, and miscellaneous office items. Manage and build our relationships with our preferred suppliers
Administration Support
- Work with Brand Experience Operations teams on task-oriented / corporate-oriented work
- Establish strong processes and procedures for all office shipping & receiving mail and packages with expedience and accuracy
- General office administration including but not limited to; invoicing, expensing and vendor management
- Provide admin support across agency: print address labels, organize the purchase and delivery of goods and help coordinate couriers
- Project and Marketing Team support as needed (task-related)
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- Associate’s Degree in Secretarial Science or related field
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not a must
- 2 years of previous administrative or office experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Occasional travel either locally may be required
- Basic degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
- Basic analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.
- Basic verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).
- Basic understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
- Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients.
- Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to work with and influence peers and management.
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
