Summary
Perform project management for both testing and consultancy services within Connectivity division on Electrical and Electronics devices. Assist and support Frontlines to achieve direct and indirect revenue growth.
Job Functions
- Manage projects local US Connectivity accounts, as assigned, maximizing efficiency to enhance client satisfaction and ensure compliance with technical standards.
- Prepare and execute standard operation procedures (SOP) of the client.
- Ensure effective communication with team members, customers and suppliers to achieve appropriate levels of understanding of and commitment to successful completion of a project.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting as required by the project type and customer wishes.
- Maintain productive working relationships with other teams (Commercial SGS Affiliates) to ensure smooth operation of the business.
- Communicate effectively with client & internal colleagues (status reports, results, final reports) in a timely manner to ensure satisfaction.
- Support client meetings and supplier briefing session for program launch.
- Ensure completion of all assigned work and relevant documentation in accordance with required procedures and standards to fulfill SGS quality requirements.
- Provide first line project management support and Establish project needs and monitor work-in-progress to ensure final deliverables adhere to pre-defined requirements;
- Responsible for generating final project reports in conjunction with lab managers and global oversea affiliates.
- Flexible working to deliver clients projects.
Education and Experience
- Degree holder in any discipline preferably with manufacturing experience;
- Minimum 3 years of experience in managing supply chain program;
- Highly organized, prior experience in project or program management.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access and Outlook
- Good communication skills – both verbal and written.
- Able to work under own initiative and with a high degree of autonomy and maturity.
- Effective interpersonal skills – able to develop positive working relationships with people at all levels, both SGS colleagues and external clients and partners.
- Able to adopt a flexible approach to work and react effectively to a rapidly changing environment.
- Familiar with project, program, audit, testing and supply chain management are highly desirable.
- Sales orientated and commercial focus.
Skills/Competencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to speak second languages are desirable. (eg. Mandarin, Japanese, Korean)
- Ability to multi-task and be highly organized
- Strong collection, organizational & interpersonal skills; and the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
- Being able to handle high volume of adjustments, and be the point of contact between clients and internal staffs
