What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rigger position at Shadow Transport Inc.?
Riggers are the jack-of-all-trades for the film industry. Riggers are responsible for creating and maintaining equipment in an efficient way. The rigger is responsible for creating tools, cranes, dollies and camera supports that allows the film crew to efficiently do their jobs. They also help to build sets, and get them ready for shooting.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with site workers and management.
- Work with site engineer to ensure safety of workers on a job site.
- Implement safety precautions necessary for a job site according to the Occupational Safety and Health Act.
- Assist in planning, installing and maintaining rigging equipment.
- Transport equipment from site to site.
- Help with inspections.
- Assist with the maintenance of rigging equipment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
