Barista

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Cafe Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. As a vital member of our cafe team, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty drinks, according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment with precision and care to ensure consistent quality.
• Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide recommendations based on customer preferences and menu offerings.
• Uphold high standards of customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions about coffee products, and ensuring a positive experience.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently, following proper cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe, including the coffee bar, seating areas, and restroom facilities.
• Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety of food products and compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate workflow, assist with tasks as needed, and contribute to a positive work environment.
