Production Lead
Shamrock Roofing is an established roofing and construction company servicing the metro-Kansas City area since 1977. In the last few years, our business has exploded in the Midwest and now servicing areas in Arkansas, Texas, Des Moines, Lincoln, Omaha, and St. Louis.
We are currently hiring a Construction Production Lead to provide support to our Production crew and perform a variety of tasks throughout the Little Rock area.
Additional responsibilities of the Construction Production Lead:
- Is an expert in the roofing/siding/construction trades and has worked as a laborer in the field
- Much of the work is performed inside our office but occasionally would meet with clients
- Participates in and demonstrates an understanding of safety principles and practices and ensures our safety program is in accordance with all safety laws that are applicable
- Frequent lifting fro 5-40 lbs, unassisted
- Access and mobility in tight spaces
- Working at Heights – over 5 feet often
- Sustained periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneeling
- Approve jobs and schedule crews
- Customer care
- Works in a specific city/locale, travels occasionally
- Is fluent in Spanish
- Is able to explain complex roofing issues to the crew/salesperson/homeowner
- Coordinates daily builds/repairs/material needs with subcontractor crews
- Speaks daily with the Branch Manager and the regional production manager with updated progress reports of that market
- Delegates or completes repairs within 5 days of assignment
- Works in tandem with the salesperson/crew/homeowner
- Trains/instructs material runner in roofing construction specifics
Qualifications:
- Potential to move into a full-time, permanent role
- Excellent Computer Skills
- Excellent Organizational Skills
- Ability to work well with people
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in the construction/roofing/insurance industries preferred
- The ability to climb ladders and inspect roofs
- Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Hardworking with a “do-what-it-takes” attitude
- Great Attitude and high level of energy (negative attitudes need not apply!)
- Work a flexible schedule
- Educated in CRM systems and Excel
- Willing to adapt on the fly
- Willing to travel
